State Commissioner Wayne Myers is now home and working limited duty.  Wayne is available most Monday through Fridays from 9:00 am - Noon, and 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm in the Indiana ASA Office, 812-234-0339.

 

State Commissioner, Wayne L Myers, under went quadruple bypass surgery today (Thursday, May 29) at the Terre Haute Regional Hospital.  Phyllis was by his side and reports that for a "mature man", Wayne did very well.  Wayne was sitting up and eating ice chips by early evening.  Wayne should be moved from intensive care to a private room sometime tomorrow (5/30).  Please continue to remember Wayne and Phyllis in your prayers.

At the Saturday, March 29, 2008 Indiana ASA Spring Commissioners Meeting / Hall of Fame Banquet former Indiana ASA Executive Board President Mike Ropp, Bristol announced his retirement from Indiana ASA effective May 31, 2008.  Mike has served as the Elkhart League Director for thirty-one (31) years.  Mike represented Region 2 on the Executive Board and served as the Region Vice-President for twenty-seven (27) years.  Mike also served as Executive Board vice-president for four (4) years, president for fourteen (14) years, and  "keeper of the Constitution and Bylaws" and webmaster of this website.

Mike's wit and wisdom will be sorely missed.  We wish Mike and his wife Annetta the very best.
